The shop’s price is the price

What you see on an item is what that shop’s own store published when we last checked it, usually within the past few days. If the two ever disagree, theirs is right and ours is stale. We do not mark anything up, add a fee, or hold a payment.

How shops are listed and ranked

A shop appears because it is an independent business in Seattle, and it ranks by how well it answers what you asked for and how close it is. Being listed is free. A neighborhood page may carry a sponsor. A sponsor is clearly labelled as one and changes nothing about which shops appear in the listings or in what order.

Chains are left out on purpose. That is an editorial line about what this site is for, not a judgment about any particular business.

What we cannot promise

Opening hours, addresses, phone numbers and stock come from public records and from shops’ own catalogs, and any of it can be wrong or out of date. Ring ahead before you cross town. If you find something wrong, the “Tell us” link on the shop’s page or the contact page reaches us, and we fix it.

Whose words and pictures these are

Product titles, descriptions and photographs belong to the shops and are shown as their stores publish them. Shop and boundary data is under the licences named on the privacy page. Please do not scrape this site to rebuild it elsewhere, and do not use it as a list to spam the shops on it: they are the point of the whole thing.

Last changed 1 October 2026. This is a pilot, so these terms will get longer when there is more to say, and any change will be dated here.
