South Park holds a bend of the Duwamish under the Boeing Field flight path, a river town the city grew up around. When the old drawbridge shut in 2010 the neighborhood fought four years for its replacement, and 14th Ave S never stopped being the main street. Marra Farm grows food on ground Italian truck farmers worked a century ago.
